Hey Guys,
So I just want to talk a little about staying positive and motivated during the winter months, which is the hardest thing in the world while you are fighting with Fibro everyday. The last 4 months have definitely been the hardest for me in a while. I get motivated one week and then the next I cant do anything.
As I have been traveling a lot on planes Ive been getting a lot of colds and chest infections which is really annoying. š¦
A few things i am going to start taking to try and fight against all the germs:
Lots of Garlic….Apparently garlic is great for killing bugs…..lowers blood pressure…..helps with nausea…. You’ll be smelly but hopefully bug free! lol
Vitamin C…..Kiwis and oranges have a huge amount of Vit C. Vitamin C protects against immune system deficiencies ,Ā Cardiovascular disease , prenatal health problems, eye disease, and even skin wrinkling.
Coconut water….As you all know I swear by coconut water, I have seen the affects its had on my body so I’m going to keep taking it.
Manuka Honey….as a singer i have suffered a lot with coughs and colds so Ive always had Manuka honey with lemon and hot water and i think its great. Manuka Honey is brilliant for killing bugs.
Here are some foods that will help you fight the winter bugs away
I also love fruit all year round but try and stick to the winter fruits as they are in season and will be tastier..
If you can keep the bugs away and try and get as much exercise and sleep as possible than the winter months shouldn’t be too hard on you. Eating healthily is also very important, you have to keep the body nourished. I love having lots of winter soups during the cold months. You can pack a load of vegetables and pulses in them which fill you up and nourish you also.
And of course, always keep a small bit of chocolate in the fridge for those really bad days. ā¤
Talk soon
Love
