How have you all been?
So it’s been nearly 3 weeks since my last post but to be honest I didn’t have much to talk about so wasn’t going to write a post just for the sake of it. But now I do…… Since I spoke to you last I have been making a great effort to get daily exercise into my life, whether it’s just a short walk on the beach or a good hike up Tara Hill, Wexford. Honestly when battling with fibromyalgia, I am 100 per cent confident that exercise and fresh air do us the power of good. I know all about fibro fatigue and how tough it can be but if you can drag yourself out of bed and just get out even for 10 minutes, I know it helps! ❤
I have given up coffee…and for me that’s a big deal as I use to drink a lot of espresso coffees everyday. As much as I loved coffee I knew it wasn’t good for my body. I’m off it nearly 3 weeks now and the different with my stomach is amazing. My acid re-flux has reduced greatly and my bloating has basically stopped happening. I have been drinking a coffee alternative called whole Earth, Wake Up, Coffee Alternative. Its made from Chicory, barley,rye,figs and guarana. Now, when I bought it I did think to myself, here’s more money down the toilet as its going to be gross but I was pleasantly surprised and I actually really enjoy it now every morning.
Eating a lot cleaner and less dairy…I always try and eat clean anyway but for the last few weeks I’ve been really trying to eat as little dairy and gluten as possible. As a veggy I’m always tempted to try to become vegan but its bloody hard. Let’s just say for the last few weeks Ive been eating as clean and vegan as possible and to be honest I have found that its actually great. I definitely know Gluten wrecks your stomach if you have any sort of IBS or acid re-flux. Most of the time if I eat gluten, like pasta and pizza I feel terrible. So the best thing is to just stay away from it and these days it’s pretty simple. The cleaner I eat the more energy I have and I just feel better in myself. Seriously, try it and let me know how you feel. 🙂
Raw Apple Cider Vinegar…..I’ve been taking 10mls of raw apple cider vinegar every morning. It’s pretty gross but I honestly think its helping me a lot so I shall continue this for as long as I can.
Some of the benefits include:

2. Heartburn, Intestinal Problems and Constipation
3. Normalize Intestinal Bacteria

5. Regulate Blood Sugar and Aid in Diabetes
6. Helps lower High Blood Pressure
And the last thing is….Oil Pulling.
Oil Pulling is basically swishing coconut oil around in your mouth for about 20 minute every day.

- Increases energy
- Detoxes the body
- Aids Hormonal changes
- Reduces Headaches
- Keeps the skin clear
- Promotes Oral Hygiene
So I said to myself well if this truly works I’m definitely going to start doing this. Only 20 minutes a day and all these benefits, Yes please! When I put the raw hard coconut oil in my mouth at first it felt pretty gross but once it softened up and turned to liquid it was perfect. After the 20 minutes of swishing it around you then sip it out and honestly your mouth feels really clean, its weird! I don’t do this everyday but as much as I remember to do it.
So these are the little things I have been doing and honestly I do feel much better….pain still bad but my insides feel good and I feel a little healthier and happier too. ❤
Please, If you are having a bad day GET OUTDOORS….It’s honestly the best thing to do!
